Lately, I’ve become an expert at balancing work, life, and school. Admittedly, some days I do better than others! I have two amazing kids. When I can, I like to hike, camp, read, knit, bike, and do yoga. Oh, did I mention bake? I make a mean cupcake.
I recently completed a Master’s Graduate Certification in Marketing through Southern New Hampshire University. I’ve decided to challenge myself to completing my Master’s degree in Marketing through SNHU. Professionally, I recently made a career change, moving into a consulting role for a company who provides business and marketing solutions to behavioral health organizations. I provide graphic design, marketing and social media support both in house and to our clients in the health care field. Prior to this, I was marketing specialist and graphic design specialist for seven years at a company that makes applique products for apparel. What started as a production art job, moved into a creative lead, and quickly evolved into a creative marketing and media specialist role. It was nice to have a role that grew with me! Here I communicated with large corporate customers, as well as overseas manufacturing, developing new product lines and marketing releases, I also developed sales materials and strategies, allowing me to become a professional creative lead and marketer. Yet, my continued studies have set new goals for my future. Whether my next position is in marketing, social media management, account management, or a continued creative presence, I’m confident that I’m ready for the challenge!
